Greaseproof without PFAS — because the rules already moved

PFAS 'forever chemicals' used to be the easy way to make paper greaseproof. US FDA has moved PFAS grease-proofing out of food contact, several US states ban it outright, and EU restriction is moving the same direction. Our greaseproof grades use mechanical refining and PFAS-free barrier chemistry instead — burger boxes, pastry bags and trays that stop grease shadows without the fluorine, with test reports to prove it.

Questions buyers ask us

How do you make paper greaseproof without PFAS?
Two routes: densely refined paper (mechanical barrier, fully recyclable) and PFAS-free barrier coatings. We pick per product based on how oily and how hot the food is.
Can you prove a product is PFAS-free?
Yes — total organic fluorine testing through accredited labs, report supplied. Several US states' rules hinge on exactly this number, so we keep it on file per grade.
Does PFAS-free cost more?
Marginally — usually 2–5% on the lined component. Cheaper than relabeling and recalling when a state ban catches your stock.
