Questions buyers ask us
Are cornstarch containers really compostable?
They're certified for industrial composting (EN 13432 / ASTM D6400 type standards — we provide the test reports for your market). Home composting takes longer and depends on conditions, so we keep claims to what the documents support.
Can they go in the microwave?
Yes, short reheats up to about 100°C are fine. They're not for oven use.
How do they compare to bagasse?
Cornstarch is smoother and slightly more rigid; bagasse runs cheaper at volume. We make both — most buyers sample the two side by side before committing.
Do you provide compliance documents for the EU and US?
Yes — food-contact declarations plus migration test coordination with accredited labs, matched to EU 10/2011 or FDA expectations.
